Flash Fiction Vol. 5

This collection is about comfort. The comfort of art and solitude, the comfort of a time and routine. The things and places people find familiar, the things that put them at ease. A lot of these are very personal. I love drumming, the night, “Summer Never Dies” is based on one of my favorite albums, and it's a personal dream of mine to own an old castle. The aim was to make something delicate, and that meant making it as honest and specific as possible. I wanted tears and bursting hearts, and I hope that’s what I’ve gotten in return. As much as I take comfort in darkness and snares, I hope other take comfort in the words I write.
